Since 1958

The Cumberland Beach & District Ratepayers Association was incorporated in 1958. In 1966, the land at Lakeside Dr. & Lee Ave. was purchased as a members-only park.

For over 60 years the community has supported the Association by paying dues, maintaining the land, sitting as board members, and taking care of the park.

As a not-for-profit corporation without share capital, the Association has members, not shareholders. The corporation exists “without the purpose of gain for its members”.

Annual dues are $30 per household. If you haven’t paid this year, please consider doing so. We need your help to ensure expenses are paid, including township taxes and liability insurance.

Cumberland Beach Park Rules

Please follow the rules to keep our park a safe place for all members and to help us be a good neighbour.

  • Member only park & beach.

  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Swimming is at your own risk.

  • Fires, fireworks, smoking/vaping are prohibited.

  • Dogs must be leashed and under the owner’s control at all times.

  • Clean up after your pet and take poop bags with you.

  • No glass or alcoholic beverages.

  • The park is closed at 11:00 pm.

  • Snowmobiles must drive at 20 km/h or slower within posted park operating times only.

  • Take all garbage with you.

  • Violations may result in membership termination.
